The Team behind Bei & Kai
We are a homeschooling family of four in Singapore. We named this business after our two blessings: Nehemiah (Bei) & Micaiah (Kai). This business is run by Amy, Bei & Kai. So when you call us, don't be surprised if a child's voice greets you at the other end of the line! ;)
Amy was lecturing before deciding to stop work for Nehemiah when he was 14 months old. It was a definite calling from our Heavenly Father that could not be ignored. With that, it led to the birth of our 'family' business of sort, selling just one book, 'To Train Up A Child', by Michael & Debi Pearl, Signing Time! Dvds and taking orders from friends to make cakes, cookies and catering for their home parties. It has been quite a journey and Bei & Kai was officially established in 2007 after the birth of Micaiah. There were many times when we considered giving up the business due to the sheer amount of work and commitment with no monetary returns. Hahahahaha! But by God's grace, His guidance and tremendous support from friends (you know who you are), we are still around serving Him and His people.
This year will mark several significant changes in Bei & Kai in preparation for more time needed on the children's homeschooling. Firstly, we are slowly moving away from being an online retail store to focusing on bulk order for our books and working with a group of resellers for our babywearing and breastfeeding products, like Action Baby Carrier, AngelPack, Sakura Bloom Slings, Bamboobino & Milkshirt, to name a few. Secondly, we will also focus more of our resources on sourcing for good quality and wonderful products for families and making them available in Singapore, conducting workshops, fairs and researching on various topics close to Amy's heart like babywearing, breastfeeding, child training and homeschooling.
Our family truly hope to share with you our passion in babywearing, breastfeeding and training up our blessings in God's way. We hope to be of service to fellow parents and families. Amy has completed her certification courses as a labour doula & Christian Childbirth Educator. We aim to learn with all of you and walk with you in your parenting journeys.
